ハワイ・オアフ島の繁華街から徒歩30分のロードサイドに位置する一軒家のレストラン。70年代に建設された構造体の佇まいは、ハワイアン・ミッドセンチュリー・モダンのヴァイブを感じさせ、当時から使用されていたであろう仕上げ材（ブリーズブロック、ジプトーン、テラゾー、ハワイアンコア）を施すことでノスタルジーに浸れる空間を演出しました。業態のコンセプトの1つであるイタリアンは、オープンキッチン上部一面に設けた整然と並ぶワインセラーで表現し、もう一方のスパニッシュは、マタドールのムレータ（赤い布）を突き抜ける一瞬を切り取った闘牛のARTで表現。海外出店で様々な弊害が生じる事柄をムレータに、チャレンジする様を闘牛の突進に喩え、この先にも起こりうる壁を突き破り更なる躍進をしたいという想いがこのアートには込められています。（佐野岳士／SWeeT）

This restaurant is located in an independent building on roadside 30 minutes away by foot from the main shopping district of Oahu, Hawaii. The building was constructed in the 1970s and evokes vibes of Hawaiian Midcentury modern. We created a space dripping in nostalgia by using materials assumed to be used then: breeze block, decorated gypsum board, terrazzo, and Hawaiian Koa. One of the business concepts is “Italian,” which we expressed with the wine cellar aligned cleanly above the open kitchen. The other concept, “Spanish,” is expressed with art representing a bull the second it charges through the matador’s muleta. The artwork is also invested with the ambition to break through the wall of potential problems that could challenge the business owner when they opened this shop abroad, just as the bull charges through the muleta. 位居夏威夷瓦胡岛的繁华街步行30分钟的街边，有一家独栋餐厅。建于70年代的建筑风貌依旧能让人感受得到夏威夷二十世纪中叶流行的余韵。通过施加当时应该已经被使用的成品材料（微风块、毛毛虫石膏板、水磨石、夏威夷相思木）演绎出怀旧复古的沉浸式空间。作为业态概念之一的意大利风格，通过将整齐排列的酒窖设置于开放式厨房上部来展现。而另一边的西班牙式风格，则是通过冲过斗牛士手中布莱卡（红布）瞬间的斗牛的面部截面的艺术作品来展现。将在海外开店发生的各种弊端情况，比喻为布莱卡，将勇于挑战时比喻为斗牛的勇猛冲进。这幅艺术作品里面包含了，更加努力突破今后将会发生的困难壁垒的想法。（佐野岳士／SWeeT）
