万博記念公園内の有料敷地内に出店された「薪窯ピッツァ・カフェ NORTH GARDEN by mothers」。公園という最高のロケーションを最大のメリットとするための新業態開発から始まった。薪釜ピザをメインとしたイタリアンカフェとし、公園内で出る間伐材を店内で活用するほか、公園のロケーションを利用しアウトドアウエディングの企画運営も行うなど、他店とは差別化された業態となった。
店内はツリーハウスをコンセプトに、公園内のシンボルツリー的存在となり、人が集うお店にしたいという思いを込めた。既存の建築躯体を再利用し、お店自体を大きなツリーに見立て、外壁には無垢板を、屋上には植栽計画を行なった。店内には壁面いっぱいにイラストレーター・岡野藍氏によるウォールアートを施し、いわゆる“映え”のエリアとなった。植物の成長と共に緑が生い茂る、公園に根付くお店になる事を目指し、キーカラーはコンセプトに相応しい彩度を押さえたグリーンを採用。レイアウトは雨天時に屋内ウエディングができるよう、フレキシブルに対応できるよう考慮した。また、店内外から視認性の良い位置にピザ釜のある工房を配置。ライブ感があり一番の演出の目玉である。計画全体に渡りできる限りケミカルな建材を使用せず、公園環境にふさわしい店舗づくりを行なった。このお店が公園のランドマークになることを願う。（平野大偉／イチミリデザイン）

A restaurant was to be built in Expo ’70 Commemorative Park.
In order to maximize the merits of this excellent location, a new type of business was developed.
An Italian café serving mainly pizza, and using the wood thinned from trees in the park to fuel the stone oven, was created. The restaurant also differentiated its business by offering outdoor weddings taking advantage of its location in the park. We designed this to be a symbolic place in the park, where people would gather, based on the concept of a treehouse. Reusing the existing structure, we decorated the building to look like a large tree, with solid wood used for the outside wall and on the roof, we conducted planting design. We tasked illustrator Ai Okano with covering the walls inside the restaurant to make it a so-called photogenic restaurant.
We planned the plantings so that they would grow and flourish to eventually root the restaurant in the park. The key color was a muted green, appropriate for the concept. To make weddings possible even when it rains, we intentionally made it a flexible design. The kitchen, with the pizza oven, was placed in a highly visible place in the restaurant, thereby creating a dynamism and providing a bit of show.
We also attempted to use as little chemical building materials as possible to make it into a restaurant fitting for the park. We hope that this restaurant will become a landmark of the park. (Hirano Dai / ICHIMIRI DESIGN)

这家店铺在“大阪万博纪念公园”内（收费园区）开业了。为了使公园的最佳位置成为店铺最大的优点，我们从开发新的业态开始进行规划。这是一家意大利咖啡馆业态，活用公园内的间伐材为燃料，主要供应窑烤披萨（pizza）。另外，我们还利用公园内的位置优势规划及运营户外婚礼，打造出与其他店铺有所不同的新业态。我们以树屋作为设计概念，店铺整体象征伫立在公园内的一棵树，成为人们聚集的地点。现有的建筑框架被重复使用，店铺本身就像一棵大树，外墙以实木板装饰，而屋顶则采用植栽绿化。我们请插画家冈野蓝女士以墙壁艺术的型式来填满整个墙面，也成为了所谓的打卡地。旨在成为扎根于公园内的店铺，随着植物的生长而绿意盎然。店铺采用了与整体概念相呼应并且适当控制彩度的绿色为主要颜色。我们也考虑到可以灵活调整的布局规划，以便在下雨天进行室内婚礼。烤披萨（pizza）的石窑工作室设置在店铺内外都能看到的位置，临场感吸引人们的目光，也成为空间演绎的核心。此外，尽量避免使用化学建材，打造一个适合公园环境的店铺。我们希望它能成为公园内的地标。（平野大伟／ICHIMIRI DESIGN）
